Hi all, i have a 2004 vogue which has standard 18" alloys on it, and i have just bought some 20" stormers for it, which have come from a sport (picking up later this week),

my question is..... will i have to get new wheel nuts? mine are big looking black nuts, and the ones that my new wheels have on (in the pics) look a bit smaller and are shiny looking. where on earth would i get the wheel nuts that i need if i do need new ones!!

can anyone shed any light on this for me?

cheers in advance

19” wheels were standard on the V8 Vogue so I’m guessing your L322 is a TD6?
In case you weren’t aware Land Rover never offered 19” or 20” wheels as an option on the TD6 because of torsional driveline oscillation issues when stationary (uncomfortable vibration when in gear with your foot on the brake pedal). This only changed after the 6HP26 transmission and Magna Steyr DD295 transfer box were fitted.

yes you will need differant nuts mate, hse and vogue had 22mm and sport were 20mm , i think thats the size , i have a set off sport wheels and a set off vogue wheels and nuts are defo differant

More of a concern may be tyres. Did they come with tyres already fitted? If so they will be too small for a L322 and you'll need new ones! (no this is not a joke)

For RR wheels after 2006 (and the same goes for RRS I think) you need to have the silver nuts. The shank length is different by a couple of mm.

I bought a set of 2006 wheels for my 2002 RR and had to buy a set of nuts off ebay for around £50. Not sure what the RRS specs are though.

You should do a search on fullfatrr.com as this was comprehensively discussed there. One member (Scarey) has RRS wheels on his 2004 so he would be a good person to ask advice off!
