Does the engine/MIL light come on every time you lose power?

The light will store a code which you should read with a diagnostics machine. If you don't have 1 take it to a garage with LR diag kit to read.

Looks like good Freelander terrain in the pic!

Light sometimes coms on. Not all the time. And its not so easy to go to diagnostics. We dont have a lot of landrovers here. So ve dont have good mehanics than know the car. I was trying delfi diagnostic but that didn contect to ecu. And try ebay ****box. That was reading cs angel sensor but i dot trust ebay ****box.

**** box scan

Low pressure fuel pump is a good place to start.
The high pressure fuel rail sensor is another one to check. They do suffer from corrosion which produces strange faults.

Hi. So this morning everyting was fine for first 40km. So i was thinking that that was a water in some wire conections. But after it started to brake again. Now its seems like 1,2,3 gear is ok. But 4,5 brakes up after 2,7 rpm’s. still going but speed goes up slowly. No engine light.

As its intermittent, I don't suppose its anything like head gasket failure/compression, split hoses, timing.

I don't know if it could be something sticking in the turbo wastegate, MAP sensor on the way, partially blocked fuel filter out or an intermittent electrical fault in the pump.

As the MIL light is sometimes getting thrown - there will be a reason that the ECU will tell you if you connect diag kit - even if it just points you towards air supply or fuel.

Is there any way to test map whitout diagnostics? I was looking at wastgate and it seems to be ok. Fuel filter is ok. I will try to chek wires again.

So car is ok now. Power is back. Problem was in the wires. I clean all conections close to fuel pump. I thint that the problem was in 1 injector wire. It under intake pipe. And intake pipes can be leaky. So wire conector was wet. So i clean that and pump conectors and put the in difrent spot and zip tide everything. Car runs good. Hope thats fixt.
