Hi
Some of you will remember that I am in the process of swapping my wrecked engine with a new one purchased recently from Rimmers. I need some help with a part number.

I'm looking for a part number for a part which has probably never been sold and which most owners never knew existed! If you strip all the engine components off so that you are just left with the bare engine you will discover an O ring or rubber gasket between the water pump housing and the block. There is a hole in the block about 25mm diameter through which water is drawn from the block and fed to the water pump and it is this sealing gasket which I need the number for.

Most of the other parts I can get on line or from LR independents but I'm sure the list will get longer as I go.

I'm going to be away for 3weeks and was hoping I could order it before I go so that it be ready when I get back!
A parts catalogue would be really useful!

there should be a groove in the back of the water pump that the o ring sits into any rubber o ring that size with a little liquid gasket to hold it in place while you put the pump in, the pump assemble has 3 0 rings all together as far as i remember

Thanks for that ZDZ. A useful link which show the various parts. The o ring is shown under water pump and is numbered 3. It is clearly not one of the three o rings associated with the water pump itself.

There doesn't seem to be a LR part number to go with this part. Am I right?
