knocking noise turning right

hi have freelander td4 2004
I get a knocking noise when turning right and going over bumps
had droplinks done..antiroll bar rubbers done..still doing it
any help plzzzz

It could be caused by a multitude of problems, so you'll need to do some serious checking of:
The VCU (do the one wheel up test).

Check all tyres are identical, with the least worn on the rear.

Check for play in the rear diff mounts, particularly the front one.

Check for slop of the engine lower tie bar large bush.

Check the VCU mounts are OK and not perished.

Check the propshaft UJs are in good condition.

Check the front driveshafts for play in the CV joints.

If the IRD oil hasn't been changed recently ,then it's a good idea to change it. This will give you a good indication of the condition of the IRD. Brown or black oil is good. Silver particles in the oil is bad.
