Hi All,
Over the last couple of months I’ve noticed a knocking noise from ( I think) the NSF area. It sounds like a bush or bushes as it makes its presence known when going over holes/ manhole covers etc.
I’m having the diff oil changed next week so while it’s up in the air I’m going have a good look and see if I can find it (them). Is there any particular ones that are more likely to be worn than others? Or any that wear first that I could concentrate on?
Cheers,
Michael.

Best guess would be drop links. Get heavy duty ones from AF factors, Southampton.

Then others last about as long as it takes to fit them!

Update:
Andy you were correct, the OS drop link top bush is the culprit.
Given that I’ve only done 3.5k miles since purchasing in October 21 would the heavy duty DL’s be worth the extra?
Regards,
Michael.

Thanks Nodge. While I’m at it I think I’ll do the ARB and replace the lower arms and relevant bushes. It’s gotta get us up the west coast of Scotland in April. It’ll be the longest trip I’ve done in it.
Cheers,
M.

So, update,
Had the drop links, ARB bushes, and lower arms + bushes changed.
Will it need the tracking done?
Thanks to all who contributed.
Cheers,
M.
