Knocking at rear, and suspension?

hi chaps, couple more questions for you all.

find the ride quite hard in the p38 sometimes, its on air but im maybe thinking of putting some softer shockers on it or something as i don't find it absorbs bumps that well, any advice?

also im still getting a sort of clunking at the rear (sounds like n/s rear). Mainy does it in the morning when everything is cold or if ive left it to stand for a few hours.

Knocking at rear, I would say either upper trailing arm bushes (but that gives the feeling of the back end wanting to overtake the front) or A-frame balljoint. It could be where the balljoint is attached to axle and it's starting to peel away and needs welding up.

whats the best way to check the bushes, its seems fine once its warmed up which i find odd.
