Other than I go shooting in Kinver at the Cross Guns club and I've seen plenty of decent looking lanes but not driven any as I'm always on my own when shooting. Would be interested to drive some though if anyone goes.

hi guys does anyone know of any green lanes in and around kinver in the stourbridge west midlands if so could you help me please

cheers :)

at the risk of repeating other comments - buy an OS map and do some research. the area you're looking at is fairly small so an evening spent looking at the relevant maps followed by a few calls to the local highways department will answer all of your questions

On reflection the answer to the original post should of been yes and yes.

Ill help you but i will not be giving you a list of lanes to drive.

Get yourself a 1:25000 os map of the area you want and google what you can and cant drive and then find them on the map. Then when you have the grid references of the lanes you THINK you can drive. Call the councils definitive map department(usually highways dept) and ask them if there are any restrictions for those roads/lanes and if so how long they last for.

That is what we have to do everytime we want to drive lanes and thats why people dont share much info with others. Because it takes time and effort and alot of people cant be arsed.

That said, its great fun and great to get out in the countryside. So i hope you do bother and enjoy and drive responsibly. :)
