Hi does anyone know how to program my keys to my disco3 as it would be nice to be able to use the keys to open my doors and I’m a bit concerned that the two keys I have are wrong as when I bought the car the batteries were both dead so I have two keys but no remote access

hi and welcome

the keys are inductive charging so basically they get charged every time u put them into the ignition

U can buy new keys from ebay for around £30 but would need diagnostics to sync them, always best to get at least 2 x keys

assume the keys start the engine but as u mentioned the central locking doesn’t work , there is also 3 x green wires down by the passengers side sill that can cause issues , hidden in a large loom that runs in the channel , they control the signal that goes to the central locking module, they need to come apart , cleaned, crimped / soldered

but normally when keys get old the battery doesn't keep its charge , but after a few hours or so they should, if not new keys will be req , but check those 3 x green wires first just in case it’s that
