hi all, help needed, I’m trying with out success to disable the keyless entry on my 2014 D4, I’ve done this before some time ago, but trying both keys today it doesn’t want to play ball, any ideas, I’ve had it in and I’ve had it out, I’ve even tried shaking it all about but like err indoors it refusing to budge. So what have I done, I’ve opened the drivers door, put the key inside and pressed the headlamp button 3 times followed by the unlock button, I’ve closed the door, pressed the lock button and the unlock button, locked it again and then opened the door as normal by pulling the door handle, a bit like Brexit it’s now driving me to distraction, HELP!,!,! Please. Any ideas, am I doing it too slowly or ???

I did notice that u also done this
locked it again and then openedthe door as normal by pulling the door handle,
Where as it’s suppose to be
pressed the lock button and the unlock button,
Maybe by u locking it again has stopped it working ??
It relates to the end bit

Yep, I’ve tried it, but, I’ll try it again, as I said, I used the format you’ve sent through previously AND IT worked, so I don’t know why it’s not working now, maybe the car battery is low?? I guess it could be something as daft as that, hopefully, I’ll try again tomorrow using the door handle controls, thanks for your Help with this

Did u try it before with both keys , indeed having a low battery can cause all sorts of issues , I assumed though once u have disabled the keyless entry it shouldn’t come back on
Plse let us know how u get on but of course will be a good idea to get ur batteries checked out
