hello, I have a '96 300tdi disco. When i got it there was only 1 set of keys. I have had another set cut, and they work, but i still only have 1 keyfob. I'm not keen on paying the large sums of money that dealerships charge and have heard scare stories about second hand/ebay keyfobs so i don't want to go that route unless I have too. I understand that the emergency lock code will help if i was to loose my keys but I don't have the code. how would i go about retreaving this and also sorting out a keyfob? Thx Ian

Just send your existing fob to these people and the will read the info on it and send you a duplicate one within 24 hours.

go to a breakers yard and get one for next to nothing but make sure it the right frequency. If you have a lap top plug it in to the cars ecu and you can program it that way

What a load of rubbish... What ecu would that be? and what software, xp or vista should the laptop be using
