Evening Everyone,

I was looking for some sort of how to guide or some directions on how to replace the buttons on my worn out key fob on my P38.
I have bought the replacements but can't open the key without fear of snapping the thing,

Anyone who can point me in the right direction will be brilliant,

No need to open, the new buttons fit from the top....

Prise out the old, and then tuck in the new.....simples....

Also the P38 key is two halves that is plastic welded together along the seam.....no chance of pulling apart, although with deft control of a dremel or scalpel, you can cut it open, just be careful of the circuit board inside.....but replacing the buttons, no need to open.

I opened mine and fitted a new case. Needs to be cut along the joint carefully with a razor saw. DO NOT cut anywhere near the LED lamp in the corner. There is a part on the board you can cut through and trash the board if you do that. Just get through at one end and prise apart with a flat screwdriver. I had to do mine because of a dry joint on the board. Soldered joint. Fitted new case fine since.
