Hi All
Back in February I bought a 4.6 HSE. The previuos owner was using the keyfob as a normal key as he said that it played up. When I got her home I opened the keyfob and put in new batteries 2032 type. The key fob still played up loosing sync often so have just been using the key. I have now bought a DSE as well and the keyfob on this car was ok. The message centre came up with keyfob battery low so I bought some more 2032 type and went to change them. Now this keyfob is playing up as well. When I checked out the old batteries I found a different number on them 2025.
So what type of batteries should I be using? both batteries are identical in size and volts so what is the differance.

Thanks Craig

You should be using 2025's. 2032 are thicker and don't fit properly.

Check you haven't damaged the inside of the fob.
