Key cutting

Hello does anyone know of anywhere that will cut the 3 button keys for my L322 2006 3.6 tdv8 I`ve just got it and the key that came with it works everything but the Lock button has more or less been pushed inside the key its gone like putty the bottom 2 are there but very poor so I bought one of the ebay uncut ones took it to Timpsons but they refused to cut it saying it had to go back to Range Rover for cutting ? there is a ebay listing for refurbing the key with new buttons at £40 just thought if I could get the key cut then move the internals over ? any help much appreciated thanks

I got mine done at Timpsons in Tesco Cheadle. Think it was about £40

ive got one cut by timpsons, unlocks the door wont do ignition can even see were its not cut right

Take it back, they'll have to bugger another one up ...

Problem is a lot of those key blanks off ebay are made of absolutely crap metal. Good locksmiths won't touch them because they bugger up the machines.

My key was supplied and cut by Timpsons

Timpsons aren't locksmiths lol, they just operate key cutting machines

I had the old BMW type three button key which are not great as the pads were all bust and working intermittently, I used a company called Key to my Car they come to you and he cut me the new type flick out key and he even made me a spare key and chipped it as I did not have a spare, I presume this is like a franchise type company you have in the UK, I received great service from them.

My key was cut by 24 hr emergency locksmith in birmingham and their charges were much less than the dealer.
