So I was just down at a Timpsons to get keys cut for my TD5 and was just told that the blanks are discontinued

Anyone know where I can get a blank from?

Main Dealer? Ebay? Out of interest what were they going to charge you?

They were going to charge 18 for all three keys - i'll have a look on ebay and see what I can find

main dealer is expensive, we order to vin so usually they are pre cut

I got mine from an old fashioned little cobblers. He charged me £3.95 for the blank and cutting.

The main dealer sells em new type keys as blanks and my local one will cut the key for you
Mind you bet it ain't cheap tho

The exact reverse here in France....bought my blank off ebay and tootled off to the french equivalent of Timpsons and received a NON ! .... they will not cut anybody elses key blanks and say that they can only use their own !!!! I'll wait until I visit England for the Xmas holidays and get my blank cut then!
