Went to go to the gym tonight and found an oil patch under the car, looked under the car (not got undertray on atm) and the whole front of the block had oil all over it. However i've not lost a lot when i checked the dipstick, just seems to be on the surface?

I looked a bit further up and the only 'drip' i could see where it was accumulating more was the last bolt to the right hand side on the exhaust manifold. The top right of the manifold looks a bit oil splashed, and i've a splash of oil on my bottom water pipe and my clutch slave cylinder.

Also at the back of the engine, there are a few puddles of oil just above the inlet manifold, where there's a bit of space on the head for puddles to form. Not big puddles, not even teaspoons but still noticeable.

I'm hoping it's the simplest such as rocker/cam cover gasket...

Any other suggestions?

It's a k series, wash it off let it dry run it up and watch for leaks-or just burn it

Do as Fanatic said but the latter would be best. And then get a proper land rover that you can have a load of other fun problems to deal with

Like rust? :D

I'll give it a wipe down once the engine is cool and see if i can pinpoint where it's coming from. Might be too slow of a leak for this though.

spray brake cleaner or engine degreasing fluid -make sure it is bone dry or it will catch fire.

Then again
