Evening all................

Having a think about the future of my vehicles and im wondering which direction to take! My mind is kinda made up depending on how easy things work out!

At the moment my P38 is my main vehicle, i have a Trooper as an off road toy! But next year either my wife or myself will be taking on a new vehicle which will be family friendly but big enough to tow my fishing boat! (P38 is a 2.5TD and wont pull ****)

So one of my vehicles will be redundant! I love my P38, but the trooper is more powerfull, so which do i get rid of? I guess it's all down to ease of modifications...

My Trooper has a suspension lift, but my P38 has been coiled, how easy is it to go any higher on coils? I cant find many lift kits any higher than the plus 25MM (i think) that i have??

I have fitted winches to other vehicles, but if i were to fit a winch to the P38, i would like a discreet fitting behind the bumber, but can find little information on any winch plate to do so?

It seems there is little or no information & products for sorting a P38, or am i just blind & not looking in the right place??

Cheers

Mark

Getting bits to mod yer p38 isn't easy-not impossible though. Get rid of the metro cab and take the trooper out.

Trouble with the Trooper is there are less off road products available than there are for the P38! Plus i like the size & comfort of the P38, where the Trooper can give a bit of a stiffer ride due to the independant torsion bar front suspension! The only thing the Trooper has going for it at the moment is the extra power & the fact it has a limited slip rear diff!
To get a decent off road vehicle out of either will take time & money, but how much i just dont know yet.............
