Hello, I think it is polite to introduce oneself before posting. Got a Defender 90XS, 2003 model I think, about a year ago. Picture attached unless my lamentable IT skills have let me down again.

Aren’t they a hoot to drive?

My abilities include: drinking white wine; dancing badly; wearing odd clothing (normally with cowboy boots) - no fashion sense; knowledge of early 80’s music; playing the saxophone, and bass, if the occasion calls for it.

My abilities do not include: anything to do with vehicle mechanics.

So hoping that will save me from some of the inevitable banter if/when I need some help.

Are you from Dorsetshire in the falklands then?

I do not intend in anyway to be rude, but 'fella', or 'burd'? Bit of a restrictive choice - Morton's Fork? No toys out of the pram, however: I know what to expect on this forum.

As it happens you would probably terminologically classify me as 'fella', but that is a choice.
