Just joined...

Hi, I've just bought my first Range Rover. It's a 2000 Vogue and so far it's returned 14mpg and not broken down, so all seems about right!

I'm down in the South East of England not too far from Brighton, anyone else with a similar car on here down my way? Be interested to see another and try to establish whether I've bought a lemon or not

Look forward to meeting some of you at some point.

Hi Neilly, yes it's a 4.6 so not surprised it's a bit thirsty. I run a TVR with a 4.0 rover V8 so it's not a complete surprise, although the Range Rover feels more like a barge than a car. Love it so far. Got a long trip coming up so I guess that'll be the big test.

The accelerator seems quite lazy, not sensitive at all. Have to press it a fair bit to get the thing going.

This is the first one I've driven so I assume this is normal.
