I see people here talking about how they have chased people with crowbars for just having a look. Ive parked my series up before and walked onto a driveway just to have a look at their landie, Or if its on the street no harm intended, just an enthusiast having a look.

Well then they can approach me, and I will tell them what I'm only having a look, or see mine parked on the street.

If I caught someone sniffing around my landy I wouldn't bother asking questions. I'd just make sure they're not in any fit state to drive it.:mad::mad:

After having 2 nicked I'm pretty protective of mine now.:p

I used to have people looking at my car a lot, The motorbike is even worse, I have come out to find people sat on it before. When asked what they are doing i normally get 'I was just looking mate'. Yeah, Nice, You don't get into a convertible to look at it so get the **** off of my motorbike.

Its an old series Landrover. I love it when people come and have a look, im a proud owner. If its parked up in a multi storey, surely its ok for someone to have a look

i agree with what your saying there but if its a case of several young lads in hoodies or anyone for that matter coming onto private property to have a gawk then i wouldn't be too happy... especially if they leg it when approached by the owner as described in the post i presume your referring to.

always keep me rottie in the yard with a slightly weakened chain to his collar.like to see the little bastards out run that fooker:D

Wouldnt mind if they asked me if they could have a look at it or sit into it as long as i was there...but if some cheeky ****er came down my drive and had a look...it wouldnt be long before the shotgun would be loaded!

Im not talking walking down long driveways, but I have knocked on someones door to ask them about their truck before.

If a Series or nice Defender is parked on the road or in a car park i do go over and have a look - If the owner is about then you start talking to them :) I don't walk over to it and start putting my Hand against the window looking in, just have a quick gander at it :)

If someone started looking at mine, i would be a bit woried... but that is because it is in my garden :D

Yeah thats grand, I dont mind people coming down and asking to have a look but if they just decide to come down and look without asking...drives me mental! About 2 months ago, a lad just walked into my yard and started looking at the defender then knocked on the door to ask would i buy chainsaws off him...dodgy!!! they were all fake Husqvarna's
