Hey guys,

Went to get someone to turn off my engine management light today and discovered that it is still reading faults ( thought I fixed them all)

Showing 2 codes

First
P0100 air flow meter

Now is it just a faulty meter or could something else not be working? Going to have a look at prices for a new one but not sure how is could have broken

Second
P1190 fuel rail pressure plausibility

Now that is a confusing doscription, googling the codes brings up lots of different ideas, eg: fuel pressure switch, fuel injectors and so forth

What would you go for first?

Car has been running fine ( touch wood) for ages and I have a 7 hour drive to Yorkshire at the end of October and would ideally like it not to give up...

Only thing that might feel different is slightly sluggish but it's been so long since I've driven anything else that is could be normal.

thank in advance

What engine?
Air flow meter can register if it's been disconnected with the engine running. Do you mean implausible fuel pressure?

Replaced my air flow sensor and fuel pressure sensor, so hope that will turn codes off! Will keep updated!

While I was there I took the inlet manifold off..... Wow that's discusting I think I may now be converted to the idea of getting a egr blank!!!!

O dear,,,, after a short drive I got out car and could smell diesel! Opened bonnet and there was diesel everywhere! ... Managed to get a spanner in by the fuel pressure sensor and have it a bit more of a tighten...
Seems to has stoped

Has anyone else had this problem?
