I am in the process of repairing a couple of the door mechs, I had a stupid thought...…..
I have always thought of the day that if something went wrong with the drivers lock I would have the issue of breaking in. If I was to replace the passenger side handle with a locking one (not connected to the leccys) could it not be used in an emergency? The alarm would go off by opening but that would be better than the alternative.....
I remember the days when my old cars had keyed locks on both doors and the arse end, not so long ago either. My old Cortina had a separate key for each due to bits breaking
I could just do a Mr Bean I guess, nice big padlock
