Jump seat stuck down

hi all

New here so hopefully posting in the right place.

Any thoughts? D3 one rear jump seat stuck down.

Lever clicks n releases but the seat will then only raise from top end, headrest are by a few cms and no further.

Have checked for blockages, objects in the way etc and can't see cause.

Thank you. Tried that. Something's not releasing but we can't see or get to what that could be.

hi

normally the problems can be , either the locking bar has become bent or sometimes a Torx bolt at the lever can come loose or come out , if it's just out a little bit it will catch against the mechanism and not allow the seat to come up

u could also try as one person pulls the lever and someone else slowly pulls the back
