Hi all
I own a 2006 FL1 TD4 and has only covered 40K miles from new.
I have lately developed a judder when driving, It only seems to occur in 1st & 2nd gear.
Pulling away is not a problem it is when the vehicle picks up a bit speed in 1st goes off - change into 2nd and again as you put your foot down a bit the judder occurs then yoiu drive through it.
3rd,4th & 5th is ok ????
Remember years back i had this problem on a ford escort and it was a seized joint on the propshaft, this has the same kind of symptoms but thought i would ask the question before i get to involved in case someone out there has had the problem.
Many thanks

Just had this problem and fixed it today.
Check the drive shafts, then, whilst you're under there, check the vcu bearings and the engine mounts.
