Splash a bit of satin black on it and call it a garden feature, 'til you decide what you really want to do with it.

i know what im gonna do with it later this year im gonna make a large covered area where the shed is so im undercover from the weather but im gonna have it in there warming the place up good n proppa and converted to run on used engine oil with the method ive perfected :eek::eek::eek:

the big bonus is its got a flat top so i can have me kettle on :D:D:D

I must say mate it's looking mighty fine,it's a shame we all live so far apart otherwise we could have a get together with all out rebuilt series to show them off :)

ive just found meself at the 2 steps forward and 1 step back point now

i know for a blind fact the loom is perfect as ive checked it double checked it and checked it again the bulb and headlight are working perfectly but why the hell wont it work on the vehicle

its gonna be one of those days chasing earths here there and evrywhere

it aint the switch as im using a test switch i have in the shed its brand new and works ive chased it down to a ****ty connection somewhere

but the passengers side has decided to work of its own accord now i darent touch that one not even fart near it but all the back end lights work perfectly exept the number plate light wich in me wisdom ive forgotten to wire up

but on the good side the horns are loud as fook

Try running a temporary earth wire back to the battery? I spent a while head scratching the other night until I remembered that I deliberately painted all the wing fasteners where they were coroding before....that just happened of course to be where they were conducting! If its that either run an extra earth or clean off some paint/use a start washer to make contact...

D

replaced evry earth connector with brand new ones at the massive expense of £2.50

and had a little break from it while it was raining and waiting for the battery charger to do its business
so turned me attention to the red and yellow knobs that looked more like pink and white so heres the pics of that

a quick run with 400 grit wet and dry

then a good run with the brasso polish on a duster

and the finished article :D:D

im waiting for it going dark this evening for me next few pics as itll look a little tastier :D:D:D

after a full day of fettling frigging about chasing earths bypassing wires soldering and cleaning i managed to get all the lights working after 20 years in that chicken shed

gonna start with the heavy circuits tomorrow like the starter motor glow plugs and alternator

ive been trying like fook to get this radio working properly for the landy aparrantly its a voice command opperated one couldnt get it to work off voice command no matter what i did

thing is a football got kicked across the courtyard at the back and hit me fence so hard and loud it frightened me and the dog to death sending the dog mental

at that point i snapped and shouted

****ing kids !!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

then with a crackle and pop the radio burst into life playing this

Ah, Kids, they're ok as long as they are somebody else's...

Minnie is looking good man, thats another old girl rescued, great stuff :D

not done a bloody thing to minnie today as its been ****ing down and i dont want me lectrics getting ****ed through and its been one of those days where theres tonnes of things need doing round the house

but from a crisis comes some good luck ish

the vac blew the drive belt in the middle of doing the landing and the missus just wont stand for that so she had me turn the sheds upside down looking for the illusive spare drive belt wich has gone by the bye and is probably behind a cupboard or box somewhere out of sight sniggering at me looking for it

but while ransacking the shed i came across this little beauty and it bloody works anorl so its going on the landy when i get chance

itll be the first series 3 ive ever seen with a lecci areal with a 6 foot mast on it :D:D:D

6 foot mast?! - that'll get ripped off on your first green laning venture!
You'll probably pull in world service with one that big :)

just been friggin about with what i call a double pole double throw self centering toggle switch and managed to make it reverse the areal and stop the bugger when and at what height i wish :eek::eek::eek:

and it helps having an identical areal busted in the shed fer spare parts ;);)

i knew that fiver i spent on that auto jumble sale 4 years ago wasnt wasted

I am honestly struggling to find appropriate words to explain my utter admiration for the work, and the speed, that you have managed in a small, uncovered yard.

You sir are nothing short of phenomenal.

String a tarp up and get to work then :p

missus said i cant have a new tarp after the last £20 one did its own film impression overnight

gone with the wind

found it wrapped round the top of a telegraph post bout 900 yards away with a bt openreach fella up the pole with it cursing and swearing at it shouting things like fukkin thoughtless bastids :eek:

thought id better not ask fer it back :behindsofa::behindsofa::behindsofa:
