Mine is a Chinese Mongoose, which I suspect is a clone, but it works fine.
You'll struggle to code a reverse camera to a D3 though, as the hardware isn't in place as the infotainment system was designed before reverse cameras were a thing.
The only option for a reverse camera is to inject the camera image between the NAV drive and screen, which needs a special piece of hardware.

Thanks for your reply although it can be coded you just need to do the mod to the screen which I have already done now I just need the ccf file changing. I know it can be done mate it can be done thorugh gap iid but I don't really want to pay £600 to do it

Let us know how you get on with making it work, as I've never seen a way without additional hardware, which costs about £300 to buy.

To be fair it works now but you have to go into the secret menu to get the picture up. I refuse to buy a GVIF unit as there is no need that's just if you don't want to modify the screen to ffrr which is just one wire that needs disconnecting

That's interesting. I wonder if a similar hack can be used with the Freelander 2, as a reverse camera would be handy for towing, and I don't want to go down the GVIF route either.
