jate rings...

anybody know where I can put a pair of jate rings for recovery points on the rear of my defender 90??? dont really have a clue. also, should i get another pair for the front and can i put them on my steering guard?? cheers

look under the rear cross member you will have two recovery eyes ( bits of metal with hole in connected to chassis ) you can use them with a good tested bow shackle. as for the steering guard, has it got recovery points built in to it if so use those with shackles if not you can get jate rings that should bolt on to chassis.

Forged Jate Ring, these are much better than the cheaper welded versions out there.

I wouldnt like to use those eyes, they are only there for lashing the vehicle down when in transit.

Remove them and insert JATE rings into the same chassis holes.
