James' 90 Project

Hi i'm new to land rovers this is my first 90.

i've been wanting to buy one for quite a while but never had the courage to buying one as all id ever owned is cars

so here goes i wanted a standard one so the work i do is all mine i'm a mechanic so i've worked on them just never properly used one

its a 200tdi 90 with 107k on the clock i gave £3400 for it 12 month test 6 month tax

















excuse the blue spare it's my mates i had a puncture and didn't wanna buy a inner tube as i'm ordering my modular wheels Friday.

all i've done to it so far is a boost gauge and some silicone hoses as mine where ruined and a full service.

ill be lifting it soon too and i'm toying with going the pick up route

looks very tidy. How does the chassis and bulkhead look?

Yeh by the looks of it yeh it's had a paint job recently but working in the motor trade it wants doing again. Chassis okay for age has two plates but been completely covered in stone chip to help prevent rust. Bulk heads not too bad looks like work has been done on it up close but I will be putting everything like this right once I get the running gear ready

Quick update picked up a truck cap and tailgate yesterday and got onto prepping it for paint







And my lift kit should be here tommorow

little update my lift kit came!



and put some aluminium sheet over the tail gate as i dont like to see the frame havent got a picture of it finished but you get the idea

Lift kit fitted now waiting to be transformed into a pick up
