Hi everybody my friend has a Jag X type. This morning he noticed the alarm and lights were going off. He has managed to drive the car, and it has been suggested that disconecting the battery for a while might help.
Any suggestions thank you in advance. :);)
 
yeah it may reset, try giving the battery a charge, if the voltage has dropped it may have set the alarm off
 
Sorry to do a thread resurrection but my dad needs a new battery for his 2.0 diesel x type - I wondered if anyone knew the one to go for? Cheers :)
 
Because having had a P38 where the fitting of a bigger non original batter is a better idea I thought I'd check :)
And because it's dark and I'm away from home :p
