It's not right!

I have just seen two things (Land Rovers) that could only be called "Not Right"!

Firstly a pearlised white Range Rover Sport with low profile tires AND CROME SPINNERS!

And then a Defender 90 in black, good solid rubber (ok so far!) with DARK TINTED WINDOWS!

Do these folk know? Have they no shame? Bling on a Land Rover?!

I've just been thinking about this meself. Not doing it to my landy obviously, but...

Isn't this what makes land rovers great? You can customise them every way you want, and they're desirably as fashion accessories, fast cars (see recent LRO mags), farm yard vehicles, pure work horses, and great play things.

Land Rovers, the ultimate all round vehicles.

Spinners have looked awful on every car...but I can see good reasons for tinting windows!

Hmm, I saw some really HORRENDOUS examples of 'blinged' Landies at GlastonBilling '07 - spinners, two-pack paint jobs Bloody chromosexuals; they should be dunked in mud for their audacity!!!! Sadly, sometimes chavs buy Landies.......

I see a Defender the other day with a snorkel, blacked out windows and 21" chrome rims with rubber bands on !

Actually, to me it doesn't matter what anyone else's Landy, or other 4x4, looks like, or whether they take 'em off road. To me it's all about choice and if we stop people blinging 'em up to look ****e them where would it end? Some chav might not like big tyres and all the off road kit we add on, but we and he has the choice to do it, and long may that choice remain.

Mind ... it also lets you easily see where the w@nkers are on the road ...
