Advisories:
Front off side track rod end - has play
Front offside brake pipe - corroded - needs replacing
Fuel Pipe - corroded - needs replacing
Rear springs, require replacing - I knew that one ----
Various old leaks - the guy was not impressed when I told him that was SWEAT from a 13 year old lady.... ITS NORMAL on a Land rover.
The springs and the track rod end - no issues,
The pipe work, where would I get these from or should I buy a coil of copper pipe and a flaring tool?

Any suggestions,
LR spares don't seem to supply them.
The guy in Halfords just looked at me and scratched his head.............I think he was younger than my Disco........
Sort of stuck.........
Thanks in advance.....
:)

Hello most auto factors be able to make pipe work up or if you feel confident enough buy a tool and flaring kit do it yourself and you got a kit for next time

Hmmmmm
me thinks the motor factor option might be the safer bet.
Looking for the track rod end there is talk of left handed threads or right handed. why does the Haynes manual not help,
Off side track rod end, left or right handed thread???
Thanks guys

I was born on a morning not yesterday morning.
My confusion is that there appears to be 2 options and I don't know, (till I take it off) whether or not there is a left handed thread on the track rod end.
I don't want to take the old one off till I have the new one in my hand to save down time.

Can anyone actually clarify for me please - Constructively....................

yes there is a left and right thread so as you can turn the tube to adjust in and out
the thing is the track rod can be fitted either way round so left right can go any end
buy both take the wrong one back or fit both :D

you can replace fuel pipe with rubber pipe if fasten to chassis ok .out the way of heat and good fixings at each end :D
