Anyone know the best way to remove old wax oil as I'm looking to stone chip the chassis on the defender, I've been told the stone chip will react with the wax oil if I don't get every bit of it off

Nice one :behindsofa:

Petrol, most other solvents remove it, I tried steam cleaning, but it only took off any loose bits otherwise it doesn't touch it.

Have fun.

you could try hyperchlorite, available at the farmers co-operative for about £11 for 20-25 litres,be careful tho,it burns skin, cheap enough to give it a go.
