Before I set it on fire, is there anyone locally (wirral) who can cast an eye over my engine. Had new lift pump, new solenoid, another injection pump I'm lost on why there's no fuel getting to the injectors. Heeeelp!

Crack open injectors and crank until fuel shows, assuming you have bled as far as injection pump first(assuming immobiliser not holding solenoid shut)

Not sure which type solenoid fuel cut off valve you have but some can manually over ridden so you eliminate the wiring to the valve and the valve itself as sources of your problem, I suggest you try that test, if fuel is getting to the pump.

My 300tdi had an intermittent fault in the wiring to the solenoid, which caused it to not start, solved by wiring the solenoid directly to the glow plug relay, it was too hard to find the fault in the harness but maybe ill try again one day.

Look at the picture.theres a white connector with no wire.find that wire itl be a white 1.then youl find it start.it wont start coz it aint pumpin fuel

There a black wire going to it, runs through that tube looking object. Ran a multimeter across it and got 0.80 is that normal? Seemed week to me.

Retro did you watch the youtube vid cos that explains everything my car looks ame as yours and the solenoid is easy to remove and check if its faulty put back less the spring and plunger and it should start
