Hi everyone! Can anybody throw some light on where i can get an ISO connector patch lead for my '96 disco? as you probably know, there are three plugs in the back of the original unit, four if you include the dash mounted controls, one looks like just the live and earth, and the other two, i guess, are for the speakers etc.
But my new radio has an ISO plug in the back, and won't accept any of the three plugs that are installed with the original wiring loom.
I am probably going mad, just a minute, here comes nursey with my tablets!!!!!!!!!!!

I got my lead off these on ebay, its for the wiring to the sub in the rear door. the other connections on mine were just ISO connectors, except the wheel controls if i remember right i didn't/couldn't wire them up.
but if your connections are different you might be able to get a wiring harness from halfords or somewhere.
Also when i put the connection on for the sub, it didn't connect straight on. i ended up taking the plug off the car wiring and putting the individual wires onto the adapter seperately.

Item number: 170095335743

eBay.co.uk: Landrover discovery subwoofer stereo lead NEW ITEM (item 170095335743 end time 04-Apr-07 20:10:49 BST)

Check out Ebay item numbers 320093692590, 320095794353, plus 170095335743 for your subwoofer.

The first two items are for Disco's either side of your year of model, but you can contact the seller (one and the same) as they might have the harness needed for your '96 Disco.

Aha JAC, you beat me to it re the subwoofer!

I bought the radio in france, and the plug on the back of the unit, is a lot smaller than the iso plugs on the wiring in the car. do you think that they use a different size adapter in europe? or are they the same in the uk?

No, I think Landrover had a different size plug to the standard types, whether they were purchased in the UK or France. You need that harness adaptor. I would contact the seller on Ebay to see if he has one for the '96 model.

Thanks Tony, living out here makes you wonder sometimes if they use the same EC viables as everyone else!!!!!!!!! I'll contact them first thing.
Thanks again!:)
