Mondo, I have the same problem as you. I used one of those ebay kits and it worked properly for a week. Now its gone crap again! Might have to carry the can in the car, to top it up soon. Especially when go to france in a few weeks. Bloody freelander!

A word of warning when doing this DIY refill though, ask " smythe " if he can explain/direct you what's on the other (LandRoverOwners) forum on this, the few things to check out according to Dennis.

you need to know how much oil and refidgerant are in it so empty and refill so you get them right to much of 1 or the other could make things worse,dennis on another forum knows alot about aircon and cooling as thats the line of work he`s in

Hi Dark Rocco, I had a problem with my A/C at start of summer, got it repressured and couple of days and not working, found a pin hole leak in 10mm pipe below rad behind front bumper, couldn't see it till under tray was off, I fixed it with a compression fitting, been ok since.
