is this the most expensive P38 for sale?

lets be honest- if you were in a position to spend 20k on a used range rover, ie wanting comfort- youd be a totsl fool to buy a p38 for 20k regardless of the engine or trim level
, you could buy both a rr sport and a lr22 for 20k probably

No use If you want the Linley tho, there are plenty of die hard P38 fans that could well afford a L322 etc BUT want to own what they have a P38 I for one would give a kidney and some cash for the right Linley

Only 6 ever made...making it the rarest Range Rover of all time (bar the individualised Autobiographies and Over Finches - But there were loads of each of those)

Cheers!

Was there something else special apart from the piano trim with inlets? Like special leather or paint?

that car was recently sold....I think they were asking 15k.

I saw some more photos of the rest of it and the engine.

I only saw the 'sold' advert

The V8 was made in 3.5, 4.0, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6 & 5.0 litre versions all bar the 3.5 and 4.4 used 94mm bore, the 3.5 and 4.4 used 88.9mm. The 4.4 was developed by BL's Australian operation and had an extended block to accomodate an 88.9mm stroke making the engine square. It had the potential to be the best enlarged version of the engine. It was lost when the Oz operation was closed down.
