not if it got overheating problems.. gav think long and hard about this, i got a 4.0 sitting on my drive with a foooooked engine, and belive me i would rarther have it with becm problem..

all the v8s are prone to hgf plus slipped linner. at the end of the day its up to you i only trying to warn you of the problems... i have done my heads 3 times last year, now a linner has slipped

my v8 has never had any engine problems in the 3 years ive owned it, its sound.
and im 22 and owned it from 19 and pay £700 fully comp on a 4.6 HSE

I've had v8s for a total of 9 years with no problems. Don't believe the urban myths about them all having hg problems, you will find just as many diesel boys with overheating probs.
