This would be used for the heater intake on a left hand drive.
if you get a intake for a LHD this will give you a good start for pipe attachment
if you get a intake for a LHD this will give you a good start for pipe attachment
Anything I can do with it for my RHD Landy?

You say your landy is a 300Td. Doe sit have an engine conversion? What age is it?

Then yes, it is a dummy vent. As Hicap phill said, it would be used for the heater intake on a LHD model.
