Is this a bad water pump??

I have a 2004 Range Rover HSE. Yesterday while driving, the check coolant level came on. I pulled over and coolant was spilling EVERYWHERE. Checked all hoses and radiator, and can't see any problems. Went under the car and see a leak coming from an area that I can't see. It seems like the leak comes from the bottom of the water pump, but I can't see the exact location where the leak starts. Here are some pictures....do you think it's the water pump?? Is there any way I can tell for sure?

Difficult to tell from the photos as it is in akward position, but they do fail regretfully.

If yours is a Petrol model (as you don't say) it may also be the Thermostat housing as this bolts onto the side of the water pump!

Simple job to do....I even wrote a How To in the How To section explaining the replacement water pump procedure
