I did suspect, if searched images and found 2 under bonnet images, jsut wanted a confirm:scratching_chin:bugger. is fitting a 300 more of an arse than a 200?
I been told a 200 will fit straight into my void crated by my 2.5td, no probs. Other than the leks what else will i need to do to put in a 300?:5back2:

what gearbox? they are pretty much the same size etc, 200TDI definately easier because of easier lectrics

Cheers mr redshift, that is worth thinking about, but its all the effing about with welding engine mounts different gearbox, seat box mods ect. sort cant really be arsed with all that at present, had a right pain just getting rear x member on and its still not welded! my welder did not show up, and i done all the **** work for him, is it me, or are all welders hard to pin down and if there any good they too busy? I am gonna try and weld again, ulp! i can weld, just my last attempt utterly sucked!..lol..
Thank the lord its in chassis form else it would be impossible.
Why is there so many places for mud to sit on a lr chassis? almost born to fail!
