Is there More To Re-Mapping An ECU On A Coil Converted Disco

Just joined and have a question already.

I recently bought a 2001 disco 2 td5 which had been converted to coils, but the SLABS ECU wasn't re-mapped, causing the battery to go flat after a day or so.
I've asked a couple of well known LR garages down here in Southampton to re-map, but they won't give me a price and want to book the vehicle in for them to see what conversion kit was used.

Can anyone please explain as to why they can't just re-map the ECU and give me an idea of cost before hand?

takes 2 seconds to switch to coils and put light out ,etc ,someone local coulddo it with a hawkeye

you could ask on here ,they dont need to check coil kit or anything just click coil not air on diagnostic kit
