Look at my name DUH LOL
Hi Mates, I would like to change my warning/idiot light panel for a newer one. The pic the guy sent me who has one for sale, has some of the warning light locations different to mine though its from a 300tdi defender.

Would you guys know if the electrical conductors on the panels are designed to work with any connector from the landy or is it landy specific?

So for example, though the park brake light might be located on a different part of the panel, the park brake light conductors on the panel is placed so that it still picks up the correct park brake input from the harness connector.

If I had the new panel with me I could have traced the conductors to see if it was designed to work on any 300 TDI though warning light locations may differ.

Thanks Mates

So I did some comparisons and some circuit tracing.

Ironically the ribbon circuitry and the two push on bar connectors are identical on 3 panels, however the warning lights are in different orientation, which means that the signal wires or input is what varies. This indicates that the harnesses will also be different between years.
