Trying to find out where a vibration is coming from.
Removed front prop and took it for a test drive. Vibration still there.
Took rear prop off took it for a test drive, no vibration.
Prop looks all ok, UJ's, seem fine. Now I'm wandering if its the rear diff or something in the transfer box.
All wheel bearings seem good. I was getting a klonk from the rear diff when I engaged power which sounded like the A joint but I know that is fine.

Has anyone come across a rear diff causing vibration problems before.
The vibration feels like a UJ joint has gone, its that type of vibration.

is rear prop phased correctly , any play in diff flange
None all tight and appears phased correctly. No play in any of the UJ joints and flange into Diff and transferbox also tight. The rear prop looks like it has been replaced as it looks in good condition. I have had it for five years, it hasn't been replaced in my time. I did check on Paddocks. Only £54 for a new one but can't see anything wrong with this one.
