Is my Disco a MK1 or MK2?

Hi, I really am not sure if my disco is a mk1 or mk2... Ive googled it and cant seem to find a definitive answer..

Ive uploaded a pic what i saved off the website from the garage I brought it from.

Im guessing it is a Disco 1, however it does confuse me that people have said to me that the 300 started in 95...

Im guessing mine is a Discovery 300 mk1.. helpppp...

Disco 1. 200 and 300tdi are 1, Ghey TD5 is Disco 2

disco 2 worent made till 98ish so you have a disco 1 300tdi

Had the same problem with my 1996 ES model, been told that its a disco 1, Mk 2. Are there 2 models for disco 1.

Yep. 200 series and 300 series.

its a mk1 by the way, 300's are a more refined version of the original 200, almost everything is better although I would rather a 200tdi engine

Yep disco1 300 model. I've had one, now have a 200 and got to day I do prefer the 200 model. Was windscreen deep at weekend, carpets ruined but loved it. Lucky it's full of holes to let water out again. Haha

awesome! Thanks for the replies. it isnt too bad, had a lady owner for 10 years and one for 8 before that so that makes me the 3rd owner, FSH n all that shabang... Ive been eyeing up a snorkel and lights ect but theres a couple of bits i want to get around first like my drivers window stopped working lol... need to do timing belt as well....

Sorry to argue and upset peeps, well I'm not really, BUT 200 series is by far the best all rounder compared to any discovery.

Why I hear you say,

Well the only real difference is the engine and as the 200 has the better, stronger engine it stands to reason that the 200 is better.

Obviously the 300 lights are a big improvement so I will let you have that one

A good set of spottys sorts that though. 200 all the way!!
