Is my battery powerful enough?

I agree to a point.. years ago, when cars were pre ecu and car radios were simple head units with no fancy amps or active speakers etc, there was plenty of reserve capacity in the oversized battery.
New cars have electric everything and have a massive drain with all the ecus needed to start the car, in car entertainment takes a huge draw and often isn't turned off in the sense current draw goes to zero.
Batteries are sized to the bare minimum for weight and cost saving, so when it's had 18 months of abuse, the drop in capacity starts to show, where on an old car you'd get away with 50% capacity drop and the car would still start

+1 on that kermy. Get the biggest amp/hr that physically fits!

IMO, forget the "standard" size - it won't last - e.g. "standard" for a D1 is 54Ah (!!!!!), which end up roughly 500 CCA = a joke, and not even a funny one... I fit an 096, 85Ah and 850 CCA - much better - note that this is about the same size as your battery, and you have all that electronic "stuff" - so, again IMO, there is no way in hell that is going to work..... at least not for long

Worth giving them a ring, very helpful and will know the biggest battery you can fit. My son phoned me yesterday and told me he bought a battery fir his wife's car. I asked if he used the above firm,he said no but checked on line ,he was gutted when their price wax £80 cheaper than Euro C P including the available discount. I said you should have asked Dad.
