As per title, is this ok to do; will it be acceptable for an MOT?
tie it to the axle tube with a cable tieI was told to by the MOT tester where the clips had broken that secure the brake pipe that runs across the rear axle
Just fit a new clip!I was told to by the MOT tester where the clips had broken that secure the brake pipe that runs across the rear axle
I did that with my brake lines but split some fuel hose lengthways and put the lines inside to protect them, used small cable ties to secure the fuel hose.tie it to the axle tube with a cable tie
That long tubey propshaft thing????I cabled tied my breathers to the long tubey thing that comes off the gear box and goes to the back axle.
Still ok as far as I know but I've not checked.
Reminds me of the time someone threaded bungees through his rear wheel.I was being silly hahahaha!
It does remind me of a workmate many yrs ago who fitted panniers to his motorcycle, he put a steel strut bolted to the top and bottom of the rear damper and bolted the boxes to the strut
He couldn't understand why the ride was so harsh.
