Is it new gearbox time?

Been noticing extra steering play and vibration than usual think it could be shaft related but as I was looking under saw oil and this hole it's about 2x5mm. Could I get away with having it welded?

Just a drain hole nothing to worry about.
An oil leak is when oil is dripping on the floor.
What you have there is just some oil sweating, nowt to worry about.

Cheers for clearing that up mate, was starting to get all teary eyed at the thought of cost of new box haha

If the Puma setup is similar to older Landys and thats the bottom of the bellhousing keep an eye on your clutch fluid level in case the slave seals are giving up.

I'm not sure if I it is a similar set up or not, it's the 2,4tdci and mt85 box that I have. I'll check the levels anyway and see what happens
