Is it me or have thefts gone down

Good news anyway!

Hav'nt seen any new threads on stolen landys for a while. Could this be because one of the biggest gangs in south yorkshire/derbyshire and surrounding areas have been busted and a lot of people locked up? i fooking hope so. Every week in doncaster i was hearing about another 90 going but over last 2 month i havnt heard about 1!! looks like the police are doing there bit

Or the thieves have realised they have nicked a gaylander and returned it.

On a seerious note could be just the fact that the owners arnt on here so its not reported here.

True but there hasnt been any on here for a while. looking good!

more like the roads up North are a bit icey so they tealeaves are having problems getting down em.

And the fact that most peeps are driving their landys more cos of the weather

erm i think you will find the scum bags dont like the cold so there stopping at um and the idea of breaking into a defender then defrosting it before driveing off dont apeal i dont think ....

i dont think that will stop em, they took mine last jan this year when we had bad snow, ice cold weather etc. they must have been driving wi head out of window when they took mine

Naah so many are now buying my system that they can't get away with it so often....

Thermas flask full of hot water thrown over windscreen quickly resolves that one. Yes you risk cracking the screen (like they give a f**k) and if it's stupidly cold it may freeze again, but, in practise would work and would take a few seconds.

No, it's because this time of the year they spend their money on a holiday in sunny climes. I wonder if they nick the odd car when they're on holiday (just to keep their hand in). Their Union (Aggravating Rodent Scumbags of Europe), known as ARSE state they must have 2 weeks in the sun every year.

surely at this time of year they opt for a few months all inclusive holiday courtesy of her majesty out again late spring and at it again

IF they got caught they are more likely to get a day in a warm court and a couple of hours community service due to their deprived childhood etc....

Maybe too cold for them. We can't even get them driveable with all this ice. They would be defrosting it for 30 minutes.

I think its more a case that landy owners have secured there landy's better and the thieves know the police are cracking down,if you think about it all this snow and ice is perfect cover for them,you can garuntee the landy will have been used during day so wouldnt take long to defrost late evening,it gets dark early,the police couldnt follow you on untreated roads and late evening the majority of people are tucked up with a cuppa in front of the tele (or on landyzone)the thieves have probably moved on to another scam for the time being or hopefully been caught
