Yes made it a lot easier. I filled it with just water first, then ran it and dropped it all again, then filled it with 50/50. I am going to leave it a week then do it again. There is no way you can guarantee the stuff that was in it before was mixed right and only 5 liters or so drops out at a time, unless you pull the plug out the block and I couldn't be bothered doing that.

I think your probably ok on the coolant front now mate , I wouldnt waste another £20 worth of oat

May as well put it on the end of the this thread before I start a new one.
Change the antifreeze, all successfull, Looks like I am lucky I have some left.
Drivers footwell had a dribble of coolant on the carpet on the left, Dam it, I presume this is a o-ring failure. New coolant has found a weak point.
I first noticed the smell, presumed it was the residual stuff spilled in the engine bay evaporating but it has continued.
More fun.
