Afternoon,
When washing chassis noticed a small amount of oil coming from the flange that goes to the prop.. going to check breather hose case it blocked , if breather clear is this an easy fix ? Replace oil seal ? Or is there anything ?
Thanks

There is a rubber ring seal on the crown which could have failed and a flat metal gasket that is supposed to seal the base. I would take the crown off and just seal the base gasket on both sides with instant gasket. If it leaks after that it's possible oil is getting passed a worn bearning which is a whole new world of pain

Thanks, was just reading up on another post online about same issue, will see what crown etc looks like when I take it off, hopefully new deal and seal gasket.

Check the condition of gears at the same time and to the one wheel up too. ;)
