That's pretty standard practice these day's. You might as well replace the clutch when the gearbox is off. ;)
I don’t have prop so it’s literally front wheel drive permanently
I have IRD in my little hideout ( the shed )

I'd just link the IRD cooler out of the circuit.
There's little need for it in the UK, and even less so if its running FWD.

Ali Pipes Just long enough to connect new pieces of coolant hose to with new clips
Fingers crossed
Gearbox back on and IRD refitted today
So hopefully refill with oils
And coolant tommorow
Bit of work sub frame to do
Swap rubbers for new give it a jet wash and. Repaint with some under seal
All in all
It seemed a daunting job whenI started but happily do. Another
Only Thing I would Do next. Time is get a engine hoist
Oh and try not to roll onto too many sockets . Bolts . Spanner’s
Ribs are black n blue
